What does it include?
This one-day workshop is a chance to refresh your practice, deepen your knowledge of key skills, learn new methods and learn from peers.
It is for people who are confident facilitators who are already regularly facilitating. It focuses on the learning edges of your existing practice - the dynamics and scenarios you find hardest. There is also dedicated practise time to focus on facilitating ‘on the fly’ when unexpected challenges present themselves.
Each advanced 1 day course focuses on the following four core facilitation skills:
Laying the Foundations You’ll learn how to create the conditions for great group work, both before and during an event, to set the group up for success.
Reflecting and summarising You’ll learn how to act as a mirror for the group, reflecting back what's happening and effectively summarizing content to maintain focus.
Navigating difficult dynamics and making interventions You’ll learn how to facilitate in more challenging contexts, and deepen your confidence in the areas you find most difficult
Facilitating emergently: you’ll build your confidence facilitating more confidently and flexibly when unforeseen challenges come up within groups

You will also have access to an exclusive facilitation toolkit, including slides from the course, method cards, check-ins and check-outs, useful resources to build your practice, and links to other toolkits, resources and templates
