  • Lumen URC, London 88 Tavistock Place London, England, WC1H 9RS United Kingdom (map)

Advanced facilitation training focusing on two core skills for experienced facilitators.

What does it include?

This one-day workshop is a chance to refresh your practice, deepen your knowledge of key skills, learn new methods and learn from peers. It also includes in-depth work on you as a facilitator, your strengths and areas for development.

Each masterclass focuses on the following two core facilitation skills:

  • Opening ‘up’ and generating ideas. A look at the different ways you can work with groups to generate options and ideas - one of the most common activities groups want to work on.

  • Facilitating groups towards a decision. Looking at how facilitators can support groups to move towards a decision, gain consensus, identify specific areas of difference, and generate actions to take forward.

The advanced facilitation training will also give you time to think about your strengths as a facilitator, and the main factors to consider when designing a great workshop.

Participants will also have access to an exclusive facilitation toolkit, including slides from the course, method cards, check-ins and check-outs, useful resources to build your practice, and links to other toolkits, resources and templates

  • Voluntary sector organisations or those under £500,000 turnover:  £349 +VAT
